Was it groceries or clothing? Or groceries and clothing? A single swipe of your plastic (or a cash withdrawal from the ATM) could be spent on different things.
Here’s how to break down transactions that include more than one category:
Web:
- Log into 22seven then navigate to the Transactions tab.
- Click on the transaction you would like to split.
- On the Transaction detail view, click "Split."
- Enter the new description and amount for each split.
- Select "Save" when you're done.
Transactions can be split into a maximum of 5 parts. Click "+ Create another split" to split the original transaction further.
Shouldn’t have split? Click on any split transaction to access the transaction pop-up, and use the “Unsplit” button.
iOS:
- Log into 22seven then navigate to the Transactions tab.
- Tap on the transaction you would like to split.
- On the Transaction detail view, tap on the transaction amount.
- Enter the new description and amount for each split.
- Tap on the tick when you’re done.

- Select the ‘Transactions’ option from the menu.
- Tap on the transaction you would like to split.
- On the Transaction detail view, tap on the “Split” button.
- Enter the new description and amount for each split.
- Tap on the “Done” to complete.
