Thanks for getting in touch. This feature has been discussed many times in our product design sessions. We don't have a time frame, but its something we'd potentially like to do in the future.
I'd really like to second this. I often have to decode cryptic descriptions on transactions and once I've figured out what they were for I'd like to annotate the transaction so that a month or two down the line, when I see that transaction again, I won't have to go through the painful process of trying to remember what it was for again.
Thirded! Ditto what Mark said - be great to have a way to record those epiphanies when you finally figure out what a particular garbled transaction is.
