We believe that Vault22 will be most effective if it keeps your money stuff up to date, automatically: you should be able to come to Vault22 any time and immediately see how you’ve been using your money right up until that point. Uploading statements as CSV files doesn’t enable you to do that.
Also, we believe that the “homework” of manually updating information is exactly what makes traditional financial tools so unengaging for most people. And we don’t want to keep people away – we want them coming back. So we took the decision to update information automatically for you.
