Can I delete a transaction or 2 in a "live" Account

We had to use our account to transfer money to someone else. These transactions (in and out) are now skewing our net value graphs.

Is it possible to delete just these transactions without disturbing the other transactions?

  • Hi CM,

Unfortunately, you cannot delete transactions from your accounts.

However, in this case, you can simply mark each transaction as a Transfer (the grey spending group). Since these transactions are transfers, this would be the best spending groups to choose for categorisation purposes.

  • Why can't you just add the ability to remove transactions, would be very helpful

  • I agree. it would be helpful to be able to delete transactions. My problem is the transactions from a deleted account were mistakenly not deleted, so I need to delete them.

  • Hi Phil,

Thanks so much for your feedback :)

When you delete an account from your 22seven profile, you have the option to keep the transactions or delete the account entirely. It sounds like you may have chosen to keep the transactions. You can delete your deactivated account completely, which will remove those transactions for you. On the mobile apps, you will see deactivated accounts in the options menu of the Accounts page and on the web app you will see a link for deactivated accounts at the bottom of all your linked accounts on the Accounts page.

If you need further help, please feel free to pop us a mail (TheSvens@22seven.com) and we will happily assist!

Thanks again for getting in touch.

  • Pretty lame to have no option to delete a transaction. I, for example, was defrauded of some funds that my bank has since reversed on my card statement. I still have the fraudulent transaction in 22seven and can do nothing about it.
