Additions to the app

Hi all

Thinking that the ability to attribute a income towards a expense is needed, I sometimes buy stuff for friends who eft me the money, and so by saying the income was for the expense it would cancel each other out and not affect the monthly budget. Also the ability to say a certain amount is saving for a particular goal, ie house improvements, and then when it comes time to do the improvement the expenses get drawn out of those savings then instead of showing on the monthly budget and giving a inaccurate amount.

  • Hi Sven,

Thanks for the great suggestions. I'll most definitely pass it onto our dream team :)

Goal setting and achievability is something we'd love to do in future. As they say, watch this space...

  • I will vote for this as well seeing that I suggested this a couple of years ago. Things change, so yes, it would be great to offset and expense against and income in the way Sven suggested.

Previously I was told to mark the income as a transfer and the expense as a transfer as well in that way offsetting them. This is what I've been doing in the meantime, but quite frankly it isn't making my life any easier.
