Everytime I enter a planned amount under the categories and a new transaction is added, it resets the planned amount to the average of the past months. I would like to set the planned amount and keep it. That way I can see how far over or under I am with my budget.

Your planned amounts should always stick until you change or cancel them yourself. I've taken a look and can see that you're on the most recent version of our iOS app. If you have 'Keep me logged in' set to 'ON', would you mind logging out and back in again to see if that sorts out the problem?
Please let me know if you've already tried that and it's still not working for you.
