Clarifying exceptions

Hi, I am battling to get it right categorising my expenditures. What to I put in as exceptions? For example, if I pay my sons school fees once a quarter, is that going to fall under recurring. Please give me examples of exceptions?

  • Hi Ralph

Thanks for the question. Exceptions will be different for every individual, but it's really those expenses that are...well, exceptions. Like buying a couch. It's not a recurring expense, or something that you purchase daily, monthly or even quarterly.

I'd say paying your son's school fees once every quarter feels more like a recurring expense. Hope that helps?
