Woolworths account

My Woolworths Store Card Account is now being listed as "Something you have", rather than "Something you owe". Anyone else experiencing this?

  • I have this exact problem with my Woolworths credit card, my negative balance is being reported as a posistive balance and obviously causing my statistics to display the wrong information. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks for reaching out to us. Sadly, the problem here is a result of a discrepancy on the Woolworths website regarding how they display balances for credit cards.

    On their website, you can see the current balance for the card. However, Woolworths make no distinction between negative or positive amounts when displaying the current balance. It is always displayed as a positive number, for debits and credits.

    (Interestingly, the same does not apply to their store cards, which display positive and negative balances correctly on the website)

    So, we cannot actually see whether or not the balance on your credit card account is a debit or a credit. We need to be able to see if your balance is either negative or positive. If Woolies don't show balances correctly, neither can we sadly.

    At this point, you will need to report this to Woolworths directly so they can resolve it. We have no direct relationship with them, so we cannot do this on your behalf. Their IT department has not been receptive to our attempts to reach out.

    Sorry that I cannot resolve this issue for you as I am sure it is frustrating. As soon as the issue is resolved on the Woolworths website though, we can display your balance correctly again in 22seven.
