ABSA Login Not Working

Hi
My ABSA Account is not working. Just shows an exclamation.
Although I'm receiving SMS's to state that I've logged into my internet banking when ever I log into 22seven?
Kindly advice.

  • I have been having an issue as well on some days with my husband's Absa account on my 22seven account. I'm with Absa as well but no issues. It keeps saying "Sorry, Absa didn't accept your login details" even though it has been logging in with the same details everyday and sometimes just stops working

    We're currently experiencing trouble updating all ABSA accounts at 22seven. Our data collector can log in, but we're getting errors when trying to collect transactions. Our tech team is investigating urgently.

    Just a follow up to say that we've resolved the issue with ABSA accounts not updating. When you have a moment, would you mind logging into 22seven to see if your accounts update successfully? Please let me know how it goes.

    Still having the same issue though.
    Not sure if I've setup incorrectly, but I'm not getting the SMS when I login currently.
    It's still has an exclamation on the accounts.

  • I'm having a similar issue with my Absa investment account. It keeps saying it's "updating"
    ... But it's been weeks now.
    I am unable to delete or edit it as is still "updating"

    We're experiencing some general issues with ABSA accounts at the moment, which we're expecting to be resolved soon. Please keep an eye on the service provider alert we've activated on those accounts in 22seven. Simply select your account while on the Accounts screen and you should see a message indicating there's a general issue. As soon as that disappears, we will have resolved the problem, so if you're still experiencing issues after that please let us know :)

  • Hi Bernha,

    Occasionally, if we try to access your ABSA account while they're conducting maintenance or experiencing another site issue, our data collector will encounter an error message that it interprets as an incorrect username/password error. As soon as we run into that error, we stop trying to update your accounts so that we don't lock them in situations where your credentials have actually changed. You'll need to re-enter your login credentials on one of your ABSA accounts to get them working again. If this keeps happening on a regular basis, please let us know, but it should only happen every now and then at the worst :)

    We're running into an issue with the ABSA site. It's displaying an error message when we're attempting to set the transaction date range. Our data partners are investigating whether we can get around this.

    I'll pop you an email so we can stay in touch about our progress towards a fix :)
