Do you access your FNB investment/s by logging into your FNB online account? If you are, have you linked your FNB accounts using a view-only profile?
If the answer to both is yes, then our hands are tied unfortunately. For some reason, FNB does not allow one to link investment accounts to view-only profiles. There's unfortunately not anything we can do about that :(
Thanks for the reply Michael. That's a different login URL so it's not the same type of account.
We can always build a FNB Share investor data collector. You might be able to help us do that. I'll be in touch shortly via email with details :)
I have an FNB Share Trader account and would also like for this to be added to 22seven as it is a big part of my finances. It seems you can add a Standard Bank Shares account but not FNB yet. Any ETA on this feature or are you still working on it?
I think the underlying problem is you cannot setup a read-only account in the FNB portal to view the Share Trader account. It is not listed as an option to tick for read access. So perhaps they are the ones who need to set this up?
My apologies for the late reply. We do currently support FNB Share Trader. You can link it by select 'investment' from the account options.
Unfortunately, as you've mentioned, FNB does not allow you to link your Share Trader account to a view-only profile. So if you've used a view-only profile to link your FNB accounts, you won't be able to link your Share Trader account at 22seven. This is unfortunately beyond our control :(
Would you consider linking your Share Trader account using your normal FNB login credentials?
I'm not overly fond of that idea and will give it some thought. Pity that FNB don't have read access in place for Securities but nothing you can do so this is understandable. Perhaps someone at FNB will read this and give it some consideration, long shot :)
Apologies for the late reply. If your Share Investor account is linked to your FNB online banking profile, you should be able to link it at 22seven.
In case you've linked your FNB accounts through a view-only profile, I'm not too sure if you're able to link your Share Investor to this view-only profile. Can you tell me if you are?
I know this is a very late reply to the above question, however I only signed up today.
On a view-only secondary profile 22seven cannot seem to see the Share Saver, Investor, etc accounts, basically all those under the investments tab on your main profile.
Perhaps this is something you can take up with FNB?
Thanks for getting in touch. Apologies for the late reply.
Unfortunately, we do not have a formal relationship with FNB in order to get this ball rolling, however, we will try to push for this as it would be a great feature that will help us gather data from a view only profile.
In the meantime, we suggest getting in touch with FNB directly to request this. The more customers that request it, the quicker they're likely to implement it.

Hi Michael
Thanks for the question. We're working on a data collector for FNB securities which are accessed via www.fnbsecurities.co.za
A question: Is that the same as FNB Share invester?
Hi Andre,
Thanks for the quick response, I don't think its the same thing but not 100% sure.
Here is the link to the account i'm referring to: https://www.fnb.co.za/share-investing/share-investor.html
Kind Regards,
Mike

I would like this functionality too!
Thanks Joel
It's in the works :)

Have a good day.
My pleasure Jonnathan.
May I suggest perhaps getting in touch with FNB to find out why Share Trader account can't be linked to view-only profiles?
Is this functional yet? Pretty disappointing to go through all the effort of joining FNB to find that this functionality is not there.
Hi Andre
Yes to both, I gather it's out of your control from your other messages. Pity!
Is there a work-around?
Hi again M,
Have you considered linking your FNB accounts using your normal FNB login credentials?
Hi Sven
Not ideal, but possible. Has FNB made a statement regarding linking "active" profiles (ie non-read-only)?
Any other way?
Thanks!!
Unfortunately there is no other way :(
For added peace of mind, 22seven is now insured :)
You can find more info here: https://www.22seven.com/how-it-works/security
Hi guys, can a person link FNB Share Investor account yet?

Thanks
